Kansas roots.

Kansas native, Manhattan High School graduate, J.D. cum laude—now a licensed Kansas attorney practicing with Smith Law Firm in Topeka.

Background & approach

As a Kansas native and proud Manhattan High School graduate, I’ve always carried the values of hard work, integrity, and community that define this region. After earning my degree from Baker University, I continued at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where I graduated cum laude with my Juris Doctor.

Throughout law school, I was recognized on the Faculty Honor Roll and Dean’s List, and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Water Law. I served as a Licensed Legal Intern and as a member of the William J. Holloway, Jr. American Inn of Court, and participated in the Agriculture & Environmental Law Association, Christian Legal Society, Murrah Student Association, Organization for the Advancement of Women in Law, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

I began my career at Smith Law Firm as a legal assistant and law clerk—learning how cases are built day to day—before becoming a fully licensed, bar-certified Kansas attorney. I now practice with the firm as an attorney, serving clients throughout Kansas, with a focus on communities including Topeka, Junction City, and Manhattan.

Law school gave me the tools—but it’s people who give me purpose. My approach is simple — listen carefully, prepare thoroughly, and stand with you every step of the way.
